Prayers For The Burgess' Family

I have sad news to share with all of you today. Please pray for Rick, Sherri and the rest of the Burgess family as they mourn the loss of their youngest son Bronner Burgess, also known to the Rick and Bubba army as "Cornbread." He was two years old. He died Saturday.
I just wanted to say I'm praying for the Burgess family during at this difficult time. Also, my prayers are with everyone at the Rick and Bubba Show. I love you guys.

Our family will pray for the Burgess family. Our hearts go out to the family. God is in control. May God comfort the family as I know he will.

I have just turned on my news and heard to most tragic news about Bronner. I send my prayers to Rick and Sherry and the whole Rick and Bubba family. I too am part of this family, as I listen EVERYDAY and have for years. I remember this precious child being born. May God bless each of you and give you peace.

Amber, Thank you for this touching tribute to Bronner Burgess. Our prayers and concerns should be with Rick and Sherri and the entire Rick and Bubba family. What should not be happening is what happened on Channel 19 news this morning at 5:00 a.m. Steve Johnson and Greg Screws were discussing this story. Their comments were cruel and unnessesary. Sherri Burgess has so much to deal with at this time she does NOT need thoughtless news people talking about WHY children keep drowning in family pools. There was not just one mention but a repeated mention of this. Also, what really capped it off was the comment that she had 4 children and it was impossible to watch all of them carefully. How totally cruel this was to say on the air. Come on guys...put yourself in the same position. I was extremely disappointed at the comments. Both of them owe the Burgess family a public apology. Thank you for allowing me to express this comment.

Amber you have done a wonderful job of covering the memorial service of precious Bronner.Other people need to take your lead.
I think Greg Screws and Steve Johnson owe the Burgess family a HUGE apology. Neither one of them are men of God by making such remarks especially on television. Both of them need to show some compassion for this family and remember WHO put THEM here on earth and it wasn't to judge other people.
Alot of people watch WHNT for the news and I think their remarks might have just turned everyone's head. I know no one is at fault but them but it shines a bad light on everyone there at WHNT.
