More Premier Pics

That's Stephanie Moore Mitchell-the woman who I helped meet Hill Harper. She was so sweet. I mentioned her in the blog post below.

You go Stephanie!

I also mentioned Billy Dee complimenting me on my coat, that's it. In the pictures above. Hey Billy Dee I like your coat too.

BTW-It was cold and raining that night.

Movie Premier

These are pictures from all of the movie stars being in town from the Constellation movie premier. This is one of the coolest parts of my job. Getting to meet movie stars.
If you don't know who these guys are that's THE Billy Dee Williams with me in the bottom picture. This is actually the second time we've crossed paths. Once in Montgomery and several times last week and today. Funny! Billy Dee is such a nice guy. He even told me he liked my coat Saturday night-Thanks Billy Dee.
The guy in the top picture is Hill Harper. Hill stars in the movie Constellation and is one of the stars on C.S.I. New York. What an awesome guy.
I must say it is awesome to meet famous people, but to help another person meet a famous person is even better. I asked Hill to come introduce himself to a woman, Stephanie Mitchell, who was just dying to meet him and he agreed. So I pulled him across the red carpet over to the crowd where she was standing. Stephanie got a hug and a picture with him, and of course a few seconds of fame on NewsChannel 19. It was great. Stephanie, if you read this blog, e-mail me your pictures from the night and I'll post them.
I highly enjoyed the red carpet affair Saturday night. I will tell you though, next time I will wear more comfortable shoes. Shame on you Jessica Simpson for not making comfortable shoes!!!
Have a great work week.

Going back in time for a moment! Minnesota trip.

O.K. So maybe this digital thing wasn't so hard after all. These are the hot pics from Minnesota. Yea, we were ice fishing. See that tiny little fish I caught-yea well they were all tiny so don't laugh. I caught several that day. I'm cool like that. My husband is a wimp look at all that ski gear he's wearing to keep warm. Me, well I don't need that stuff.....hahaha. We forgot to tell Kevin we weren't going skiing.

Uncle Kev & The Fab Aunt Am

This is my husband Kevin and my neice Lillian and I when we were in Minnesota. Kevin is kissing Lilly's hand. Aww, how sweet. I'm going to be called the Fabulous Aunt Amber. I actually read that in a book right at the time my nephew was born. How timely to find such an awesome name. Ha.
They are growing like weeds. I'll post more pictures soon.
Plus, more on YOGA!! Ya'll have a great weekend.

Photos & Homecoming

I still haven't figured out how to transfer pictures from camera, but my sister figured out her's.
Here is a picture of her from her homecoming this weekend. Caitlin was a homecoming atttendant. GO CAITLIN! She is so beautiful.

Fun in the Cold!

I took off a few days last week to spend time with some family in Minnesota. My 3 month old niece and brother in law and sister in law. I have lots of pictures to upload. I've been trying to figure out how to do this task...hopefully I'll be successful tonight because you've just got to see my beautiful niece. She is growing like a weed.
While there we got to see a lot of snow. This picture is from my cellphone. I actually got to ice fish. If you don't know what that is rent the movie Grumpy Old Men. That's the main reason I wanted to go ice-fishing. I love that movie. I caught some slippery little fish, but released them all.
I promise to post pictures of the fish soon....and my husband dressed in snow skiing gear to fish. Yes, goggles and all the works. It was very funny.

Doctor's Excuse

It's my doctor's excuse for Monday to the reader's of this blog. A picture of me in a hospital bed at Crestwood Hospital. I had a "little" medical procedure. I am proud to say everything is o.k. and I'm doing fine.
Just thought I would share the picture with you of me looking very peaceful. There's even a hint of a smile on my face. My husband took this of me while I was sleeping in recovery. Very funny Kevin.
After the picture the needles came out and it was back to reality. I don't remember much, but I do remember the needle coming out of my arm. BTW-I hate needles.
I do want to thank all the lady's at Crestwood for making my procedure go smoothly and my doctor as well.

Holidays, Sick and Hicks

The holiday break was wonderful. I got to spend lots of time with family and friends. And I got very sick as well. You got to love being sick on vacation.
While visiting my great aunt in Michigan I got very sick. I'm still not sure what it was, but I didn't get out of the bed very much. So now I have the after effects-COUGHING!!
You know that's just annoying.
I took lots of pictures during the holidays. I hope to post them soon. We started our vacation in Kentucky so I have lots of new pictures of the niece and nephew.
Plus, I had plenty of time to finish listening to Taylor Hicks' c-d. I love it!!!
Taylor lives up to his Soul Patrol fame in this c-d. My personal favorites on the c-d are the songs he wrote.
I enjoy all of the songs on the c-d. The one he is performing on talk shows and at bowl games, The Runaround, is awesome. That's only a sample of the creativity on this album. I'm just glad he's sticking to his roots in most of the songs like, A Soul Thing. Taylor is a very unique performer and who could tune out his beautiful, soulful voice.
I'm looking forward to him performing in Huntsville in March. Hopefully, I'll be able to give you a concert review...we'll see. I don't have tickets yet.
