Dead Cows
There's only one way to describe my job-interesting and exciting. One day I'm covering the election, to a man escaping from a holding facility, to a man being charged with the murder of his wife and then today's story-27 dead cows in Dekalb County.
27 dead cows died Friday morning, they were electrocuted. A power line snapped and fell to the ground and killed 27 cows. It was very sad looking at the poor animals piled on top of each other. Bless their hearts.
The farmer believes one was electrocuted and the rest ran over cause they were curious. Then the current of the electricity hit them all. Most of the cows were Black Angus. The farmer is out more than $30,000.
The electrical company responsible for the power line is reimbursing the farmer.
This story is one of the strangest I've seen so far.
